Why I built Ferna.

Most budgeting apps ask for a lot before they tell you anything. Ferna just wants a line of text.

You jot what you spent the way you'd say it, coffee 5, and the app figures out the amount. That's the whole loop.

Write it however you like, or say it out loud. Ferna reads the note, pulls out the amount, and sorts money out from money in. You can also scan a receipt and let it fill in the total.

A small card keeps the running totals: spent today, spent this month, and what's left against a budget you set. No spreadsheets, no setup.

Days you spend nothing are counted, and a little tree grows as they add up. A gentle nudge.

Anyone who just wants to know, roughly, where the money went this month, without the setup.
